A Summit Original! Rich eighteen-karat yellow gold heavy link bracelet with a hand-fabricated toggle clasp accented with rubies.
A deeply textured surface shows off the richness of eighteen-karat yellow gold. Sixteen oval links, each measuring approximately 17.0 x 15.0 mm, are topped with a hand-constructed toggle clasp. The toggle is accented with twisted wire detailing and rich red cabochon cut ruby at each end. Each ruby cabochon is round, measures 3.0 mm with an approximate total weight of 0.30 carat; eye clean clarity and medium, slightly purplish-Red color. Overall dimensions are 8.5-inches long and 15.0 mm wide. Bracelet weighs 57.7 dwts.

The art of metal-working is an ancient one, dating back thousands of years. This project utilizes the lost wax casting process; it begins with a model carved from a block of wax that is eventually cast into metal. Each link is cast separately, cleaned, filed and polished and ultimately connected and soldered together. The toggle is created using heavy wire that is manipulated into the decorative form you see and finally, set with stones we hand select to fit each piece. Lastly, we critically inspect the item to make sure everything is as we intended. Each of our artists has his or her own aesthetic and technique which adds to the wide variety of unique pieces in our inventory.
