An antique fourteen-karat white gold square top ring with a heart-motif, set with 1.25 carats of diamonds, circa 1950’s.
A fourteen-karat white gold square top ring, set with diamonds and accented with a delicate heart-motif. The square top measures 15.8 x 16.1 mm and is set with nine (9) round diamonds. The center diamond is a European cut diamond measuring 5.1 mm and weighing approximately 0.50 carat. The four diamonds set in the corners of the square top are a combination of brilliant and European cuts that vary in size slightly (from 3.5 to 3.7 mm). Set in each heart-shaped setting is a single cut diamonds that measures approximately 2 mm. The approximate total weight of the diamonds is 1.25 carats with an average clarity of SI and color H-I. The design of the top is accented with delicate milgrain detail. Shank has a slight knife edge to give it a bit of flair. It is a finger size 8. It is in near-perfect condition.
