Platinum and Eighteen Karat White Gold Vintage Ring Circa 1930 (D1196)
An antique filigree engagement ring made of platinum and set with diamonds. The center diamond is a round brilliant cut weighing 0.71 carat and measuring 5.65 -5.7 x 3.45 mm. The center diamond is a modern cut that was added later in the ring’s lifetime and is held in place with an 18-karat white gold bezel. The diamond clarity is SI-1 and the color is I-J. Pave set around the center diamonds are eight (8) full cut diamonds with an approximate combined weight of 0.16 carat; average clarity is SI and color H-I. All around the base of the dome and down the sides of the shank is a lovely hand-engraved pattern. Overall width of the ring is 10.2 mm tapering to 1.5 mm. Condition is excellent.
