Eighteen-karat Yellow Hammered Gold Pearl Pendant consists of one (1) cultured semi-baroque Tahitian pearl. Pearl is slightly egg-shaped and measures 13 x 14 mm; bodycolor is medium gray, slightly greenish overtones and medium luster. The pendant has a hinged bail that allows it to fit nearly any chain with a safety figure 8 clasp for added security. Hammered bail is slightly tapered and is accented with one full cut diamond weighing 0.07 carat. Pendant is shown with a textured oval link chain sold separately.

The art of metal-working is an ancient one, dating back thousands of years. This project utilizes the lost wax casting process; it begins with a model carved from a block of wax that is eventually cast into metal. Each link is cast separately, cleaned, filed and polished and ultimately connected and soldered together. The toggle is created using heavy wire that is manipulated into the decorative form you see and finally, set with stones we hand select to fit each piece. Lastly, we critically inspect the item to make sure everything is as we intended. Each of our artists has his or her own aesthetic and technique which adds to the wide variety of unique pieces in our inventory.
